Well done agents!!!! Originally shared by Alistair Erskine Following L16 Resistance agents in Munich, Berlin, Seattle, California and Taiwan - the Sydney Resistance bring online the first portal built by L16 players in the Southern Hemisphere - located at the world famous 'Sydney Opera House'. Celebrating the achievement is the youngest L16 player in the world - Wasps at 14 years of age. Starting early this year - limited by school, daylight playing hours, walking and public transport - he has reached L16 at a remarkable pace - a brilliant achievement considering his parents do not play. This op was about almost 30Mil, so it accounted for almost 13% of the global score at checkpoint. In the hours just after our last KopAField OP (Cold Steel Rail: http://goo.gl/f6BWmj ) went up on 8th Jul 2014 we were sitting around bathing in the afterglow of a successful OP when I believe it was @SirLegend siad “So what’s next? We should go bigger!” .  After this weekend’s epic drive he may regret that statement. Over the next few days running on excitement from the last OP, very little sleep and plenty of coffee a plan was hatched to field from Broken Hill, Cape Schanck Lighthouse in the south and to somewhere in Northern NS...

Outstanding OP agents!!!

Outstanding OP agents!!! Originally shared by Laurent “Lox” Dinclaux OP Fast&Furious Agent @lox for the report. After having @13thVoice driving hours to smash an annoying green link made with Very Rare Link Amps and going from Blackwater to Fiji, it was time to use those Emerald and Clermont keys that I had organised the distribution of a while back (kudos to @13thVoice, @unlinked and @Tydd), to make big Mind Units. 6 hours between the idea of doing it and its completion. After the planning was done, I had just enough time to do the 2hours 45minutes driving to Koné, in the north of New Caledonia. It was decided to use Port Macquarie as keys were in place and the cleaning to be done was minimal.@djthewombat started to drive straight away to take out a blocking link in Millmerran, 1 hour 10 min each way. We needed to remove blocking links in Port Macquarie , others from Lismore, and a days old field of ours, from New Caledonia to Stardbroke island in Brisbane. We also knew that the c...

Brisbane Resistance Women gathered on 8 March 2014 to create field art for International Women's Day  #iwd2014 . Agents @zauberwald @modeen @lunachic @DrunkAngel @HeleneM @Maelindia @Jaywings @UltraSnow came together in celebration of the day to create an image of a woman in the busy inner city suburbs. #ingress  challenges the status quo of many online games. The community guidelines promote freedom from harassment for women and children and have measures in place to address such matters. Quoting from the Operation Report... 20:04 NZST: First trans-Tasman link goes up.  Everybody on the edges of their seats, waiting for the next link to complete the field. 20:10 NZST: Second trans-Tasman link goes up, completing the field for a total MU gain of 14497.  Intel map shows the field sitting outside the links which created it, due to links following Great Circle arcs, while the fields are drawn as “straight-line” triangles. Great work guys! #13Magnus   #OperationNightstalker   #Unight8   Originally shared by Gavin Treadgold (rediguana) Operation Loading Data… aka True Blue New Zealand Background For some time now, plans have been developed to make use of three remote outlying portals in New Zealand, where a single large field would be possible to cover a large percentage of the country. At the same time, the intention was to link across the Tasman Sea to create the first Trans-Tasman fields of significance. Initially, agents planned on using a known RE stronghold portal in Te Anau (Southland), and link to two portals at the eastern and northern extremes of the North Island. In the east, the East Cape Lighthouse was utilised. To the north, Cape Reinga proved too difficult to capture and deploy at this time, due to the effect of terrain and distance on mobile communications. An alternate portal called Kupe’s Landing, in the small township of Taipa, near Kaitaia, was chosen. Back to the south, agents began e...
