India has always played a crucial role, supporting global MU score, may it from either faction. Our worthy opponents Resistance have awed us many times with their awesome coordination on field, during anomaly and during artifacts. We were inspired by their team spirit, mixed it with our strategization skills and set ourselves to achieve a feat, previously unthinkable of. Excellent work everybody!!! Governors island is ours!!!  Originally shared by Adam Smith Ingress  Joe Philley  Anne Beuttenmüller  Brandon Badger  Richard McAdams   Ruth Shepherd  Operation Supernova This is a crazy story about people who find new ways to amuse themselves playing Ingress.  The tl;dr version is NYC Resistance set another world record on 9/21/14 by putting 1326 links on a single portal without any xfactional help. Setting world records isn’t easy.  Operation Supernova is the result of months of planning and collaboration by members of the NYC Resistance.  I will take credit for the concept and the initial push to get the ball rolling, but any operation of this magnitude cannot be claimed as “theirs” by any single person.  So before I get into this, thank you to everyone who hacked keys, donated jarvis and other gear, gave input on operational strategy, provided intel support, and showed up on the ground at 3am...in the rain...to make this happen. Ingress Situation Report 429 level 8 Resistance portals were standing simultaneously at 7 pm EDT in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, USA on Saturday April 27, 2013. Over two dozen level 8 Resistance agents from six states plus Washington, DC gathered in Gettysburg on Saturday, April 27th with one goal: create as many level 8 portals as possible. There are dozens of portals everywhere you look in the small town of Gettysburg, the national park surrounding the town, and nearby regions.  The initial plan was conceived in early February. Substantial analysis was done prior to the event to determine the best plan of attack. Portals were grouped into loops to maximize effectiveness, and teams of 8 level 8 agents were sent out to upgrade each portal along the loop to a level...
