Most excellent! Originally shared by Nathan ! DFW Green Snuggie Owner - Cashew12 It’s the end of August in Texas (August 29th), the hot, hot weather is about over but DFW ENL wanted to make sure the Res would not get cold. We provided a Green Snuggie for them (Thanks John KFA  for the code name). Initial fields were drawn out and The HuK  made them even more efficient.  Main Objectives: 1. Ensure the Field Hits Checkpoint 2. Create a Winning MU Situation for North Texas Area Cells 3. Attain Onyx Illuminator Badges Field was ~3.33 Million MU per layer and we had 22 at one time for approximately 73 Million MU Number of Badges Attained: All throwers attained Onyx with a total of 17 badges received. Some players went from Silver to Onyx! Narrative: Demolition started pretty early on this thanks to Bryan White and Marlon B. We actually had to split two cities and many blockers just to get the ball rolling. But after that we had super Intel and a demolition team willing to go the extra m...

5 Onyx Illuminator badges awesome work agents!!!! Originally shared by Ashley C. I am a little late with getting this posted.  Sit-Rep for Operation: Bananas   A few months ago, my good friend Dan Funderburke  asked me to help him get his Onyx Illuminator. I agreed to help him because as many of you know, fielding is my absolute favorite part of this game. I started to come up with a plan, looking for good lanes and slow response time anchors, and decided on two portals that I was already familiar with: a remote portal on Matagorda Island and another in a historic cemetery south of Brackettville, Texas. My plan was beginning to take shape.   I had met Professor Justin  at a farm in the Hill Country a few months ago and invited him and Sarah Czimskey to have an opportunity to throw some layers knowing how hard it is to get an Onyx Illuminator by fielding “Moo” units. The Professor graciously made the trip to the Seminole Indian Scouts Cemetery to farm keys for that anchor, Thomas Spear ...

Most excellent! Originally shared by Alex Richards It all started as a race to platinum explorer. At the time, there were a few of us in the Northeast contingent who wanted to explore all the things. The goal was ten thousand, which at the time seemed difficult to foresee. It’s not a secret to those in the DC area that I,@SgnfyngMnky, play with my then boyfriend, now husband,@CloubreakerRD(Cloud). We are affectionately known to the DMV ENL as MnkyCloud. It’s really his desire to continue playing ingress and start traveling that kept me motivated. It’s significantly more fun to play with someone else if for no other reason to be known as a power couple in the area. So we started small with explorer visits to Gettysburg, and Philadelphia, PA. The world was younger and we were not efficient at all with visiting a large number of portals. Cloud and I would vie for the same unique capture, AP from destruction, links thrown, etc. After some initial travel, we decided to split the badges as w...

Spooky, without any hesitation, gave me a “hell yes”.  We agreed that realistically nothing could be done until the end of anomaly series (20/6/2015).  As Persepolis grew closer, I was blessed with an overage of paid time off at my place of employment.  I relayed this to spooky and because part of this time off occurred over the week of my birthday.  He suggested we theme the op for a celebration of my 45 years of doing time on planet Earth, by presenting me with my Onyx Illuminator.  Sp...

Originally shared by James Scott It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over cy·cle -  kill·er /ˈsīk(ə)l/ - /ˈkilər/ noun - previously a field (giga, mega, big ass, or other variety) thrown by a faction that destroyed all chances of a comeback for the opposing faction - As of Cycle 2015.27, no longer able to be defined in AM02-KILO-00 --- Resistance Operation 3C is to be respected. Like any multistate/international field, you can't help but acknowledge the teamwork and amazing effort required from so many to accomplish such a feat. So there. It's been acknowledged. Congratulations. Moving on (jealous)... --- As we celebrated TheMedellia hitting 16, we got covered. Not just covered, nearly all of our cell was slammed 14 times by Etherael's dreamy mega field (wrong color). CP 15 came and went leaving ENL behind 15MIL+. There was no ENL symbol spotlighted onto the night sky. No one hit any panic button. Everyone showed up and the pl...
