Hamburg love! Originally shared by Enlightened Hamburg - OPS OP Green Valentine Hamburg “We should do a fun event and meet everyone in Hamburg” and thus the idea was born: Let’s celebrate Valentine’s Day with playing Ingress, let’s have a GREEN VALENTINE . As fun was the primary goal, we chose to have larger teams in portal dense areas to maximise uniques for everyone. And to top it up, we organized a famous Hamburg Harbour Cruise in the evening, specifically adjusted to visit as many portals as possible on the water. Then Valentine’s Day came and it was a huge success! With ~190 participating players from Germany and Europe it was the biggest Ingress event in Germany not organized by Niantic! We started with registration and party on Friday. On Saturday morning all agents met at the “Michel” church (some somewhat tired), where a special Green Valentine Mission waited, and the fun began. A dozen teams roamed through the city and the smurfs were so kind to prepare new unique captures ...

Now this is cool!!!!! Originally shared by Alexander Stielau 8Runner - a Hamburg Resistance Mission We built 2178 blue level8 portals within the city limits of Hamburg. Period. You will find a fancy version (pictures, etc.) of this report at  http://goo.gl/JvJhHd   Epic: Lucky as we are, we got some help from a dutch BlackSploration team, who came to Hamburg to get as many uniques as possible. We built most of the portals during the daytime, reached our planned objective of 2,000 portals at 20:30, and we had about 100 agents in action. Later in the night we got a nice roof on top of our 2,000++ portals from another mission. We will add the URL if the sitrep arrives. Agents in the field: Hamburg Agents: 000Motorhead000, 0tokar0, AtomicIX, Baltikon, BekloppterFisch, Bl00dfury, Brackatz, Braenen, CYGrafix, Chruchanan, DedDog, DiffidatiConNoi, DonDom, EHT0NK, ElaPat, Flitt, Fragilant, Gondomir, GreedyOerks, Haltsmaulwurf, Hausbauer, Helldin, Hjorgrild, Hutar, IcyCrusher, JanWayne, Jayced, ...

Now this is Great ,well done agents.I really love seeing team work. Originally shared by Thomas Meier Operation: You Can’t Stop The Signal Enlightened emblem on Hamburg with a length of more than 7 kilometers (4,3 miles) - all linkportals L8 “This sign is maybe thousands of years old. The Resistance tried to fight it down, and it remained almost forgotten, until we dug it up. This is what they feared we knew. And they were right to fear. 'Cause there's a whole universe of folk who are going to know it too; they're going to see it. Somebody has to speak for these people. You all joined this faction for different reasons, but you've all come to the same place, so now I'm asking more of you than I have before --- maybe all. Sure as I know anything, I know this: they will try again. Maybe in another city, maybe on this very ground swept clean. A month from now, ten, they'll swing back to the belief that they can color our cities… blue . And I do not hold to that. So...

Waiting is half the fun my friends from Hamburg.....but we can say that it will be interesting to say the least.Congrats once again on a job well done     #nianticproject   #ingress   Originally shared by Resistance Hamburg L8 portals ...been there, done that... Let us first set the stage here a bit. Hamburg is a very active Ingress playground. With more than 800 portals and roughly 500 players, you meet other players at basically every hot spot in the city (any time of the day :)). While feeling a bit too paranoid in the first weeks of Ingress when looking for other players at portals, this paranoia is now completely understandable. In addition, it became very difficult to keep large events a secret - both teams know the High-Level players of their enemy and their actions are tracked closely by either side. Portals with higher levels usually do not survive their first 12hrs - most of them don’t even last two hours (or, in case of enlightened L8-portals, are destroyed in the moment the...
