I go to on weekly trips to DC primarily for uniques and AP but I really really wanted mission banners before I leave the East coast which lead to today. I walked quite a lot today to earn these two. The washington momument banner required me to go to two presidential monuments hidden in DC and Virginia, so my legs hurt.... The first four missions were done by 140 people, but the last two only 40 people finished it, so imo well earned. Really can't wait to get the Transamerica mission banner in SF, I didn't realize how cool mission banners are! The most recent ones have happened this past weekend. I managed to pull a full 49 hours with no sleep... What, you ask, could possibly keep me awake that long? An AP push for a friend, and a night hike up a mountain to kill a field anchor. Read on for more information... One of my closest friends (thanks to this game!) was somewhere around 1.4 million AP or so from Level 16. So after work on Friday I asked her if she wanted to go on a Stego style AP push... aka don't stop until you hit 16. After having worked all day Friday, she, her fiance and I played from 9p until 930a and damn straight she hit L16. I know you haven't made a public post about it, so I'll keep your name anonymous, but know that I'm proud and honored to be your friend. I got home sometime Saturday afternoon... Don't ask me when exact...

Nothing wrong at all with remote portals and check the view! #Ingress Originally shared by Joe Bowser Late yesterday, I decided to go down to Skagit Valley Provincial Park to submit more portals. Sure, there's no signal, but that's not a problem that can't be overcome. This park is interesting, since it's an international park. At one point, people seemed to be able to cross the border, and the road to the US was clear with cars driving straight over, but I couldn't find any information about this crossing being active, and I know that you can't take the PCT from Canada to the United States right now, so I didn't risk going any farther south than the border. I did hike up the ridge to take a picture and submit Monument 72. I'm pretty much submitting these because I think they should be in the game, even though they're remote, they have a very interesting story to tell. #IngressActualGameplayFootage

Beautiful scenery, wild horses, the pony express, unique portal caps, rescuing a stranger, and an all around good time. This is why I play ingress, to see the things I would normally have no reason to go see, instead of watching TV or playing video games on my couch, I got to take a historic route through the desert. Left at 1300hrs 6/7/2015 and got home at 0430hrs 6/8/2015, what a wild ride we had. My last mission was a walk through the famous Vigeland Park ( http://www.vigeland.museum.no/en/vigeland-park ), a beautiful sculpture park in Oslo, Norway. Finishing the mission by flipping the last portal(E8) and shooting it down so i could glyph hack it and get my last point, finishing both SpecOps and Translator on the same portal. Seems the servers gave me translator before specops after that hack, but I'm still happy.!:) It has been an exciting week, first with a ton of walking and glyphing, then doing missions until 6am after a Enlightened get together in Tønsberg today. A huge thanks to Anne Lene Ektvedt for arranging the get together, and for all the missions i got to do while there.! Cheers! Next stop is Bratislava, then ending this new anomaly series in Portland!
