I set myself the goal of making that 10000th visit mean something. Not being some random portal in Brussels during an anomaly. So where did I pick, Ben Nevis this time. Highest mountain in Britian. Initially it looked to be safe to wait to after Brussels. But then as the days rolled on, the numbers rolled by. So suddenly had to step it up and get a day in before Brussels. So Thursday was looking good, with no work. Then the weather looked to be changing quickly. So with changing work days and a hurried last 500. Determined to complete the task before #Helios #Prague , i sat down earlier this week, and tried to figure out where in my "neighborhood" i hadn't already visited. Gothenburg (furthest away with 298km) and Uddevalla in Sweden came to mind, then Halden, Fredrikstad, Larvik, Mysen, Askim, Tomter, Ski and Drøbak in Norway followed. So i set my "sails" and road-tripped around a bit, driving more then 1500km in the last two days. How i managed to end up 6 short of 10000 with all those places beats me! I was this close, no way i was gonna go home until those were visited!! Opening the intel map on a cell phone ain't fun, but you use what you have. After some browsing, i found a prefect little city to end it all. 0538am this morning, i visited my 10000'th portal...
