Operation: Sock It https://plus.google.com/+DaniellaArianne/posts/iCfKCjvKXaQ We are proud to report that our sock drive was a huge success! We were able to collect 1057 pairs of brand new socks to help the homeless in our community. These socks were donated to the local organization Outside In who work towards improved health and self sufficiency of homeless youth and other marginalized people. http://www.outsidein.org/ We would like to thank each and every one of you that participated in this project. It was a busy day and we did our best to keep the bins staffed, but if you weren't able to get your donation in you can drop it off directly at the 13th street location. And don't forget , Outside In accepts socks, underwear, toothbrushes, and travel sized toothpaste year round. Little things can make a big difference. #deploywithcompassion #ingressforgood Ingress NIA Ops Brian Rose Joe Philley Linda Besh Ethan Lepouttre Archit Bhargava Kristen Heath Heather H Cor...

Socks are the number one most requested item at homeless shelters. By providing a shelter with socks we can help free up their funds to assist in programs to help people get jobs and off the streets on a permanent basis. It's a simple and inexpensive act that goes a long way. This Saturday we are respectfully requesting donations of at least one pair of brand new socks. Athletic socks are preferred, in either Women's, Men's, or Kid's sizes. We will have donation bins set up at the Waterfront Marriott and Kells Ir...
