The Alaskan Ingress community wanted to participate in the national dual-faction Memorial Day program "Links Across America".  Since we couldn't quite link up to the large links across the "Lower 48" we decided to show our support by making two lines, one blue, one green, from the Kenai Peninsula to Anchorage, and then to the Matanuska Valley.  The area is approximately the size of Georgia and South Carolina combined and contains over half of the state's population. We all had a great time and met up for a photo at the World War II Memorial in Anchorage.  There were a lot of folks from around the area that were not able to make it in for the photo, but we couldn't have done it without them. Special thanks for the Enlightened go to Silcas on the peninsula, ArcticWarrioR, and IndigoFalcon in Anchorage, LexTalionis in Eagle River, and ssjaken in the valley. (Say hello to Axel,everyone!)  The Enlightened set up and maintained the field over the hospital where Axel was born for the entire four days that we were there, thus ensuring proper Shaper influence. I want to thank Jack Welch for setting up the field, Peter Stafford for providing the intel, Kara Mahoney  and Muzafar Umarov for vigilantly guarding the portals, and the rest of the DMV Enlightened for running numerous distraction ops to keep the resistance at bay across the area.
