Its also interesting when you read an author who nails something about a place you've known for years (which I got several times with American Gods).
ReplyDeleteThat, Joe Philley, was how I felt the first time I visited New York City. Everywhere I turned were iconic buildings and scenes and landmarks that I knew only from movies and TV. It was downright crazy-feeling.
