The Alaskan Ingress community wanted to participate in the national dual-faction Memorial Day program "Links Across America".  Since we couldn't quite link up to the large links across the "Lower 48" we decided to show our support by making two lines, one blue, one green, from the Kenai Peninsula to Anchorage, and then to the Matanuska Valley.  The area is approximately the size of Georgia and South Carolina combined and contains over half of the state's population.

We all had a great time and met up for a photo at the World War II Memorial in Anchorage.  There were a lot of folks from around the area that were not able to make it in for the photo, but we couldn't have done it without them.

Special thanks for the Enlightened go to Silcas on the peninsula, ArcticWarrioR, and IndigoFalcon in Anchorage, LexTalionis in Eagle River, and ssjaken in the valley. For the Resistance: JETarpon in EagleRiver, and Zoelin in Anchorage.  Also a special thanks to ButterflyNinja for riding around town on a bike to take down blocking links.

All of us send up our sincere gratitude to all the members of the armed forces for keeping us safe, to the veterans that have served for their sacrifice, and those who never made it home for giving all they had so that we could enjoy our freedom.
