Exactly 27 years ago today U.S. President Ronald Reagan and the head of the Soviet Union Mikhail Gorbachev met for the first time. Historians claim this was the first effort of the two most powerful nations in the world to end the Cold War.
There is evidence now that suggests the two leaders were part of the "Enlightened", and the ending of the Cold War was just a distraction for the real purpose of the meeting: to combine efforts to destroy the resistance.
The meeting was held in Geneva, considered neutral ground and a secure city with no portals. Little of substance was accomplished. Six agreements were reached, ranging from cultural and scientific exchanges to environmental issues. Both Reagan and Gorbachev, however, expressed "satisfaction" with the summit, which ended two days later on November 21.
They met again a year later, but the U.S. and President Reagan, although moving forward with ending the arms race and the Cold War, felt as though Russia did not have much to offer in ways to help fight the resistance. Therefore, Reagan continued his development of the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), better known as "Star Wars". Though it would take another decade to develop, many who understand the system have said it was much more than a defense against missile attacks, but also a highly sophisticated satellite system used for tracking......tracking what and/or who, is still a mystery.
