ReplyDeleteJoe, what can you do about spoofers? there are a few in the area I am in. I was stood at a portal with no one around and it was taken down, and now i'm looking at the 10 portals in the city and they are dropping like flies as soon as our team capture them back they are turned back within minutes. I just took a screen shot of comm and one guy is smashing portals like skittles and there is hardly any time between the hits, the portals are close but at least a couple of mins walk yet they finish on one and start the next within a min.
ReplyDeleteJust watched one player smashing res on 2 different portals within the same minute going from one portal to the other and back at 9:28pm. the portals are a few hundred metres away
ReplyDeleteYou might be surprised at the range on an L6-L8 burster, Chris. I regularly smack down portals back in the park from the street while sitting in the comfort of my truck. Just one possibility.
ReplyDeleteHe's taken down at least 10 portals in just over an hour all within minutes of each other not to mention the ones that he took down earlier in the day at the other side of town most are in a pedestrian zone so he's not driving from one to the next.
ReplyDeleteEarlier this week I was stood at a portal watching it being taken down and them re-built and no one was around but me. now i get that L6 - L8 XMP may take down from distance but deploying Res has to be within 35m
