My first thought is we've found the Enlightened largest farm even.

Take a look at more of our favorite winter aurora photos: http://on.natgeo.com/14Cf0rT
We're gonna need a bigger boat...
ReplyDeleteI don't envy the weather up there, but my god are those Aurora beautiful. Best we've gotten where I live recently was a KP7 that barely registered even with a long exposure from my camera.
ReplyDeleteYeah, the Enlightened in our area have been driving farther and farther from home in order to find places to farm where we won't wipe them out before they can burn them out...
ReplyDeleteIceland though.... that's a little far. Even for them.
Nah, Enlightened will never achieve somthing like his.
ReplyDeleteThere is a pretty stable green farm in Alaska. Enlightenment under the Aurora.
ReplyDeleteThe fishy shapers have returned!!
ReplyDeletejust fantastic! i wish i was there in person.
ReplyDeleteI went to Iceland recently, my pictures look awesome, but what I saw with my eyeballs was mostly white streaks of light with thicker bands of white. One night it was fairly strong and it was greenish and you could kind of see the movement. The guides are quick to tell you, what you usually see in pictures is NOT what you usually see in the sky, it's rare to see the pretty pretty lights. Look forward to seeing it strongly with my own eyes one of these days, I've got more than a few years of hunting left ;)
ReplyDeleteCome to Alaska. It may be rare for a tourist but I get the enjoyment of seeing them multiple times a year. Mostly I see the green curtains but on occasion, I see different colors like reds and purples.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, might make that my next winter trip :) What part if Alaska would you recommend?
