A summarized field report of operation "Niantic Project" conducted by several members of the Connecticut Resistance force on Saturday March 30th 2013 in the town of Niantic, CT.
Operations began in the early afternoon hours as operatives arrived on scene at The Black Sheep Pub for field rations and resonator distribution. In total seven L8 portals and one L7 portal were constructed in the small town within the first two hours. Fearing swift retaliation from nearby Enlightened forces many Resistance agents remained on scene to burn out portals and prepare for active battle. However as the daylight began to dwindle no sign of Enlightened presence had been detected. The operation was deemed successful and Resistance forces regrouped for coffee and debriefing at a nearby cafe in New London, CT.
Post ops: It remains unclear for how much longer the town of Niantic will remain under the control of the Resistance but as the late night hours slowly transitioned over to daylight the portals withstood the test of time to weather the night.
