We've known that some of our Agents are also avid cachers, but we've recently learned that some Agents are hiding small items in boxes similar to this one. They share rough lat/long coordinates, or drop an Xmp to mark their #Ingress caches on the scanner app. It sounds a bit like a year-round, global Easter egg hunt. How clever.

  2. Unfortunately a dropped XMP will disappear after 12 hrs, no?

  4. Power cube leads us to a physical cache cube in the scanner? This would be awesome!

  6. Chris Thompson Generally they do. I dumped a couple hundred items before I knew about that, the next day they were all gone.

  7. It's been about 1.5 months since I've had one decay. I'll try it again just to make sure though.

  10. I have tested the drop a few times the items always disappear and I did it in the middle the field on my grandma's farm to make sure that it wouldn't be picked up not even with GPS draft. And I checked it couldn't even be seen from the road.

  11. I just tested it again with some resonators and a burster and they're still here despite it being over 24 hrs.

  14. Ben Maller Do you know any place specific that you can think of?

  15. I did it on my grandma's farm 66 acres. Just the drive way is 1/4 mile long

  16. That the items stayed there without decaying?

  17. No, they did decay I was testing to see if they would because I have heard both ways and I figured I could store things there since 1) it is private property and big enough that it couldn't be reached by people from the road and 2) even if someone would be bould enough to trespass to get them the wouldn't see the items going by anyway because it was out of the scanners sight from the road kinda figured it soul have been a great place to store extra keys till needed and media
