  1. Like he said, it's not to late to switch Joe Philley. Join us.

  2. Being persuasive, is knowing when and how much of the truth to tell, to suit your needs and wants. Without proof, it is hard to say you have freewill. Shaper influence can "stage" freewill, because Enlightened agents will act upon the influence. If choreographed right, it will look like freewill, sleight of hand like a magician.

However, following the story from the beginning, tells us there are 3 states Affinity, Neutral, and Aversion. Realistically, the only ones that have "true" freewill are the Neutrals. I would consider myself a Neutral Resistance fighter. I fight for true freewill for all. I do not fear the great advancements that XM can bring, but am wary of the dangers that it brings in the wrong hands.

Think "The Silence" in Doctor Who. Keep resisting Joe Philley that monotone soothsayer can't influence me!!

  3. What I want to know is why there is a fleur-de-lis under the light switch? ;)

  4. Whether or not you have free will it is best to believe that you do.

  5. Troy Wilson, then we're not so different, really. You are wary of the dangers of XM Enlightenment in the wrong hands, and so am I. But I, for one, am more convinced that the "wrong hands" are most of the organizations currently struggling to control XM tech: the NIA, of course, but also HAZDATA, IQTech, possibly Strategic Explorations, etc. Better these advancements be spread far and wide to the people, than doled out for espionage, weapons programs, and profit.

  6. Joshua Reiniger I can appreciate that point of view, but to spread it far and wide, there could be more "wrong hands" to fight. Better the enemy you know, than the enemies you don't.

  7. And those enemies you don't know already have the tech. What was it Lynton-Wolfe said? About the arms makers? Well, I think the Spartans had another phrase about arms.

  8. I have no doubt Strategic Explorations is.

  9. I still say if the aliens come down and offer to download warp drive tech to my brain, see ya in Alpha Centauri, suckers!

  10. still waiting for the proof that NIA=Resistance, though

  11. Wait..."doled out for espionage weapons and profit? "

Am I reading you right Joshua Reiniger ?

  12. Devin Lumpuy , you're right, "doled out" is not not quite the right turn of phrase; "exploited" is a better term.

  13. I see. So then you are comfortable with XM technology, if I understand your point, being utilized in the proliferation of weapons and advancement of clandestine agendas?

Perhaps I misunderstand, but it seems that is also the agenda of the corrupt organizations so many Enlightened agents seem to believe we are a part of.

Either I am confused by your point or you are shifting perspectives.

Is this part of the XM exposure you have proliferated?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Devin Lumpuy, quite the opposite. I do not want to see XM tech monopolized by such organizations. Instead, it should be a resource available to all of humanity.

  15. I think I understand your position. I just don't have your faith that the corrupt among the innocents will not seek to exploit this energy of unknown origin and intent.
