Operation Gheun Taak - Race To Mumbai's First Lvl 8 Portal
Dear Brethren, In our unending battle for domination and resisting the Shapers there comes a time when he have to set up some team goals and some personal goals, while those personal goals are for the betterment of oneself and proving his/her worthiness to the faction, its the team goals that define as the dominating presence in the world of Ingress..and I can proudly claim that our efforts and countless hours of sweat and blood (shout out to DartStrike) hasn't been spent in vain as today we have come together and created our very own Lvl 8 portal for Mumbai.
Take a bow My Brethren cos today we have done what many doubted we would achieve and
I agree we had our downfalls. our hour of doubts and our many regrets but it didn't slow us or break us and like the great Shivaji we have resisted the Enligthenment that the Shapers would bring to our great cities and as he defeated the Moghuls and Freed the Maratha people we in our own capacities have done the same and have taken our very first step in making the Resistance a known presence in Mumbai.
So after lots of time spent planning and plotting we decided to chose Shivaji Park at Dadar, Mumbai to be our very first location that will mark a new era in the history of Ingress here in the Sub Continent of India.
The Portal that was graced with the the first set of LvL 8 resos was Statue of Chatrapati Shivaji..
The Agents Involved in making this possible are Qdalz, LordPhocklin, MH43, TheEuthaniser, Kramy, Cliffton, JacknBurn and DarknessDamned, Resistance Mumbai's First Level 8's and also special thanks to a visiting Agent from our faction in the U.S Chakram for extending his warm supports for this cause.
We salute the countless Resistance Agents who sacrificed AP day in and day out so that we could ready our higher level agents to be able to make this great feat possible, you have our respect and we implore our agents to play clean and prove their worth to the faction and be a shining beacon of hope to the human race.

We made INDIA's first l8 portal, not just Mumbai's.

ReplyDeleteWell you didn't exactly resist. .. nice write up... but this post is biased... you forgot to mention that the enlightened portal went live at the exact same time or maybe before (very close call)... and the battle that followed. ..

Also, new sitrep would have been on the dog fight (or "war", if you may) that ensued, at the end of which, no L8 portals remained.

Close call or not, if you could have made the first L8 portal, you would have made the first L8 portal. DOT. And pls don't call yourself enlightened if you cant use biased in proper sense. You are still stone age!!

y is it so hard to see..we didnt knw ull were upto it the time this report went up!! the report was made on site and it went live the moment the portal went up..so atleast acknowledge that fact rather den bickering..i thought we are adults in the end of the day and this jus shows that u guys r sore losers..btw more dirt coming up in my blog post and video on Operation Gheun Taak..

ReplyDeleteAamir Siddiqui we don't report every resistance player. We wait till we see suspicious activity, then gather tonnes of evidence in the form of screenshots, and then and only then report,with the evidence. What do you want us to do if you'll openly confess to cheating?

That's like walking into a police station and filing an FIR. Whether the accused is guilty or innocent, he still ends up getting harrassed.
(There's no portal in the middle of any river/sea/miscellaneous water body in mumbai, none that I know of atleast)

Don't you think its fair enough to give someone a chance to explain themself?
Take soda's case yesterday, he destroyed a portal, was nowhere to be seen by our agent. People did say to report him. But he explained his reason well enough (albeit rather harshly), so we didn't. Sodapub aka sherwyn still retains a cool and clean image with us.
The fact is, sometimes you "feel" people cheat, but in reality, they have their own legit reasons.
Running back to Niantic on every player who you "feel" is cheating doesn't do justice to the spirit of the game.
Webhax, I've made attempts to weed out spoofers (/unknown players, <---- that's coz they still have a chance to put forth their reasons/explanations before we mass report)
