or as we called it ‘RIT Crazy 8 Party’

Lets do some backstory of the area before I plunge into the story of what we planned.

It all started on the 27th of April one night a local player that just dinged L8 the 7th one of us to achieve the current max level. The plan was tentatively hatched by him as to finally get one of our own L8 portal up and running. We’ve had chatter about setting up L7’s for the longest time but we haven’t gotten around to it as many of us are busy during the week. Furthermore we’ve heard of one more resistance member hitting L8 as well, putting the numbers of L8 players at 10. They clearly have had much of a dominance over Rochester for the past couple months, they created their first L8 portal with no fanfare. Just building it up on the way by, bit by bit the portals increased and we alerted the rest when some were getting close to becoming a Level 8 portal. 

It mostly was an uphill struggle to get to that magic 8, but due to all these L7 and L8 players that the smurfs have, it wasn’t that hard. For some places the smurfs do not pass through destroying our portals because we take it back within the hour. This area is RIT, one place guarded by college students. We are probably the types of players that are the scariest to play against, we have free time. Being so well protected it was a gold mine for those L7 smurfs trying to level up. It would always change back to Enlightened though.

So we chose RIT to be the spot for us as there are so many players that have keys and can allow us to link it all up neatly for maximum defense potential.

May 3rd a week before and plans we have at least 8 L8s expected to attend. By May 6th we would be looking at a possible attendance of 10 L8’s 

1900 rolls around and we see 8 L8’s and 1 L8 arrives a little after we started.
