In the SMURF (Solidarity Movement of United Resistant Fields), we love to field the West of France. One day in the beginning of September, cousin greg0ry from the east of Paris joined our little community. Rather quickly, our "grand manitou des plans « foireux »" (great Guru of « shitty » plans) cc Skeptboarder begins to look in the east of Paris and discovered this small village Saint-Dizier with plenty of neutral portals. fl0rence and greg0ry were motivated for a small trip, the main field is planned on two SMURFly spots (Angers and Le Crotoy) and Saint-Dizier.
Chosen date: October 5th, 2013
And one key exchange after another, the initial plan extends and so do the number of resistants in the project (nearly 40 at the end)
Final Objective:
1. Angers/Le Crotoy/Saint-Dizier
2. Angers/Puy-de-Dôme/Saint-Dizier
3. Angers/Le Crotoy/Saint Gilles Pligeaux
4. Angers/Dax/Baden
5 Field Puy-de-Dôme Sud-Ouest
Field Preparation:
One week before the beginning of the hostilities the main problem was situated in the Sarthe countryside: too much green. Thanks to the joined action of teamSarthoise, teamAngevine and teamRouen, the Rouen-Angers road is kept at all cost the whole week in order to protect Crotoy-Angers passage. Bordelais team opens the passage from Angers to Dax for the covering of Bordeaux. South of Tours is cleaned by teamCentre in order to free the passage towards the south-east for Angers. 8ABCP3XW free the passage in the north of Troyes. In a few words: everything is alright. However, Thursday (D Day -2) gave us quite a fright, a lot of SMURFly places fell in the same evening: Rouen, Chartres, Le Crotoy. In order for us to be protected, the SMRUFly spots around Rouen are linked and fielded.
D Day:
All indicators are more or less green. Sadly, Angers sees the arrival of several green L8 players for the weekend. Angevine team fights to keep the Vannes-Angers road with the help of teamNantaise. Clermont team takes a walk in the north of Clermont to destroy annoying fields. With the destruction of Poitiers, the passage Angers-Dax is open. Team BZH gaurds us the passage in Brittany from Vannes to Rennes. And to conclude, Picarde team reacts very quickly (too quickly :P) for the destruction of the field covering Amiens.
•Field Angers/Dax/Baden done at 18:30 = 1.6 MMU
10PM Saturday evening, also known as "la moulinette de la mort" (the "death roulette")
After a lot of roads (thank you carbon footprint) teamCousinDenFace arrived to Saint-Dizier. HamSolo, as our operators, launched the apocalypse. TeamOrléanaise and teamNormade jarvissed the last blocking links. The "moulinette de la mort" for the links is launched. After quite a lot of times:
• field Angers/Le Crotoy/Saint-Dizier established 2 times = 5 MMU * 2
• Angers/Le Crotoy/Saint Gilles Pligeaux = 2 MMU
And as a bonus, Brittany expansion by Dédé
• Field in the south-west with the Puy-de-Dôme
Angers was jarvised by Gnarfounet and stopped us in our multi-field momentum and the closing of Puy-de-Dôme field
Sunday: Let's finish the job? ^^
Our cousins d'en face still motivated go again to Saint-Dizier. Indeed the two links for the main field are still alive and the other passages are still opened. But what are doing the ENL ? :D The moulinette is less diabolical and the missing field is made with an additional blue sky covering Paris:
• The field Angers /Le Crotoy /Saint-Dizier is established = 5MMU
• The field Angers/Puy-de-Dôme/Saint-Dizier = 2MMU
And a nice kite is flying over France this Sunday!
Total MMU de l'opé :
• Samedi : env. 14MMU
• Dimanche : 7MMU
