Operation: Winter Wonderland
Our anniversary weekend was fast approaching. Nana offered to take the kids...but we had no plans! There was nothing to do but look at the intel map!
We considered a little jaunt to socal to visit a lighthouse, but that is a long drive to end up getting arrested for trespassing, so we settled on Tahoe. Nothing could be more romantic than ingressing in the woods.
The drive and dinner were lovely. Our evening was consumed with drinks and gambling. In the morning we bundled up and walked to the portal, it was about 7 beautiful miles round trip.
We enjoyed our day and headed home with a planned stop in Roseville for a cross faction meet-up. Just as we pulled into Roseville our notifications went off. Our portal had been flipped.
The meet up was lovely. There were both old and new friends, and it was a lively group. But Ryan Weaving was annoyed. So we decided to drive the 2 hours back to Tahoe, spend the night there, and flip it again.
It was a great anniversary trip! Thanks for the laughs Cosm and Trocar. We'll be back to visit soon!
