SITREP_20140105 op 8 + 8 alias Game Over by agent stylee

Last time, Enlightened Padova created 6 overlapping fields over Padova, plus 1 on the north, scoring about 400.000 MUs (op Aurora Su Padova: https://plus.google.com/+DarioSantamaria/posts/9vank3aVc2L ). It was a big operation, took a lot of time and resources to organize it. Our SITREP was reported on Ingress Report #25. But for us, it wasn't enough. We wanted to state our supremacy on the city, that is already so green. We wanted to cover Padova with absolute green.

Ingress game is based on the number 8, so we decided to use 2 base links to increase the defense of our planned control fields: 2 portals on north-east and 2 portals on south-west, so 2 50km links were firstly done. After that, we started from the inner portal and we did 8 consecutive control fields using inner base link (Chiesa Loreggia - Chiesa di Ca' Arnaldi). We used a portals serie that represent the path of Jesus, "via crucis". Then, using the outer base link (Chiesa di Resana - Chiesa di Cicogna), we did the second 8 in a row control fields, building on top of portals at Piove di Sacco city center.

We scored an unexpected 4 millions of MUs... we controlled 16 times the mind of every single man in Padova. Are we really sure that this is a game?
