  1. Nice. You like to see that type of cooperation between factions.

  2. I can't say I agree with this. But if they can have the truces without the drama, more power to them.

  3. I like the training grounds at the Tower of the America's. I've taken new players from Austin and Houston there - then ran the Riverwalk with them. Great way to hit L6 in a day.

  4. Ha ha... Interesting. We had a crew attempt that here in a distant part of Utah county. The trolls wouldn't leave them alone though, some of them driving nearly an hour just to flip the green one to blue repeatedly (and it wasn't for lack of targets closer to them).

  8. So...let me tell you something...I visited San Antonio back in November and stumbled upon these portals.  Being close to L8, I took out the Resistance portal, and claimed.  After that, my COMM blew up!  If this game is to have dominate side, why is there a truce?  I fulfilled my end of the Enlightened side by destroying L8 portals, however, I did enjoy the higher level gear!  Most of the ENL guys I talk to agreed that I should have destroyed the portal.  Either way, they rebuild shortly after - but was funny as hell to get a lot of "hate" messages!

    It's the concept that
    1. Ingress is a game
    2. San Antonio still remembers the meaning of Tejas.

  10. Last treaty I came across I killed all the blue l8s then adaed the green ones and killed them as well.

  11. I understand having something like that..."for both factions can enjoy a beer and hangout," but for most of them to come at me like I knew that there was a treaty was messed up. I don't care either way, I thought it was freaking hilarious that so many people got up set that this happened.  If it's just a game, why get so butt hurt?

  12. Our treaty is fairly and evenly enforced by both sides.  The rules are no links in or out of the portals, and no bursters.  The portals will turn over every three weeks or so because eventually someone will link to them.  The other end of the link is then killed or the portals at Freetail are Ada/Jarvis'd to bring them into compliance.   It's been running like this for around 6 months.  It's a great stop to have a quick inventory & thirst refresher!

  13. Great to have a place where either team can have a beer and hack for gear.
Hope there's 2 MH and 2 HS on each..
