PreOperation
The Resistance picked up Intel in the week leading to the 1/18 weekend that the Enlightened may have a large fielding operation scheduled. Resistance leaders were put on alert to look for unusual activity and to be prepared for blocking actions or to dispatch agents to take down field anchors if necessary.
Event Timeline
All timing below is approximate pst.
Saturday, January 18, 2014
9:00 Agents FirstDegree and Thoriator are enroute from Las Vegas to Salt Lake City to attend a reception that evening. They receive notification that Las Vegas Enlightened agents attacked a remote portal that could potentially be used in large fielding operations. The decision is made to create blocking links to protect Las Vegas and the State of Nevada enroute.
10:00: FirstDegree and Thoriator stop at Moapa, NV for the first blocking links to an inaccessible portal in Yosemite and a remote portal in Rhyolite, NV.
10:30: FirstDegree and Thoriator stop in Mesquite, NV and put a blocking link to Wikieup, AZ.
14:15: FirstDegree and Thoriator stop at Cove Fort and place a blocking link to Middlegate Station in East Central, NV. This link does block plans and is taken down approximately 30 minutes later by an enlightened agent coming from Fallon, NV.
15:00: Enlightened agents create a link from Hetch Hetchy, CA to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota.
16:20: Resistance Agents in South Dakota take down the North anchor to the link. No additional links or fields were established prior to the link coming down.
16:40: Enlightened agents clear the blocks from Moapa, NV.
Sunday, January 19, 2014
14:00: Agents FirstDegree and Thoriator are returning from Salt Lake City to their home in Central Nevada via Wendover, NV. Due to again seeing unusual activity at remote sites there is concern that the prospective operation from the previous day had been postponed and would be attempted on Sunday, they stop and place blocking links from Wendover to Casa Diablo in California and to Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV.
Monday, January 20, 2014
No further enlightened activity is noted. FirstDegree notes he has additional keys to Casa Diablo, to Wendover, and having received keys from agent Delier to the Arches National Park Visitors Center in Utah, reaches out to the Salt Lake City Resistance about performing a joint operation Tuesday night assuming the Wendover portal remains untouched. Agent reverendlegend from the Salt Lake Resistance agrees to travel to Wendover to create the necessary link to Arches National Park. Since the link from Mesquite to Wikieup is still active and they’d like to cover Las Vegas, Wikieup is settled upon as the Southern anchor and FirstDegree agrees to make the drive. Agent Deaglan421 of the Las Vegas Resistance volunteers to go along for the 5 hour round trip. Prospective link lines are identified and the paths scoured for potential blocking links that require clearing. A blue link is discovered in Utah and Agent EVILoptimist from the St. George Resistance agrees to handle Tuesday evening. Additionally two blue links from a common portal are identified coming out of Las Vegas. Agent BlueKnightWing from the Las Vegas Resistance commits to handling on Tuesday evening as well. Finally Agent oowhiteice based out of Long Beach, CA, but adopted member of the Las Vegas Resistance due to his frequent visits agrees to handle Intel Operations. Everything is a go, just need to wait until Tuesday night to execute.

17:00 Agent FirstDegree picks up Deaglan421. They’ve notice a small field was created by the enlightened that blocks the path between the current link to Nellis and the current link to Casa Diablo. Not sure whether or not that was intentional, they decide to go out to Nellis to create a link as misdirection that they’ve been successfully blocked in creating a BAF out of the north part of Las Vegas. They gain access to the portal and create a link to the Tonopah area.
18:30: FirstDegree and Deaglan421 proceed towards Wikieup, AZ while reverendlegend is heading from Salt Lake City to Wendover. They are notified by EVILoptimist that he is running behind so his taking down the blocking link may be a couple of hours later than planned. BlueKnightWing is put on stand-by status to clear the Las Vegas portal.
20:30: reverendlegend arrives in Wendover, NV. oowhiteice takes a second look at the blocking link in Utah and identifies it will be decaying in about 5 minutes. EVILoptimist is notified he can divert, one of the blocking link anchors decays and the link drops on its own. BlueKnightWing is requested to drop the Las Vegas portal at 21:00.
21:00: FirstDegree and Deaglan421 arrive in Wikieup. They proceed to the portal which is linked to Mesquite and Deaglan421 uses a Jarvis to clear the block.
21:10: BlueKnightWing uses a Jarvis to drop the Las Vegas blocks. oowhiteice declares all clear and to proceed with links.
21:15: FirstDegree and Deaglan421 head to the Wikieup Rocket Portal and link to Wendover, followed by Arches Visitors Center. The Utah portion of the Field is up for 152,456 Mind Units. FirstDegree brings up the key to Casa Diablo for the final link to create the Nevada portion of the Field, and they wait an agonizing 4 minutes for the server to show the location. Confirm is pressed and the Nevada portion of the field is up for 1,010,971 Mind Units.
Outcome
Operation Four Corners is a great success with anchors to a Mega-Field contained in four differing states: Arches, UT, Casa Diablo, CA, Wikieup, AZ, and Wendover, NV. The resulting two fields together cover approximately 274,274 square Kilometers andr cover Las Vegas, Northwestern Arizona, a small section of Eastern California, all of southern Nevada, much of Central and Eastern Nevada and all of Southwestern Utah. They cover portions of 19 different regional zones and helped contribute to a substantial scoring difference to the whole area including the Las Vegas region in favor of the Resistance. As of the writing of this report, the fields have remained up for 19 hours. Providing a very lopsided initial score of the new Septicycle.
