Through struggle and conflict, #Recursion has come to an end. This was about two people, but it was also about ideas... about the path we each believed humanity must travel.
The Resistance, and by their efforts, Klue S. and ADA, the first human-machine hybrid intelligence, have prevailed. They control 5 of the #Recursion Artifacts; the Enlightened have emerged from the fray empty-handed.
For better or worse, humanity has taken the first step on a bold path... one where our creations are our equals, perhaps more, and may be the stepping stone in the next phase of our evolution.
Hank Johnson, well... time will tell. He's a survivor.
Perhaps he always will be.

ReplyDeleteHumanity through its own advancement will grow. Shapers have not come to us open handed but secretively and that distrust stays. I prefer to evolve with our own ingenuities rather than by still unclear external forces. Destiny by humans as we advance and evolve. Resistance is the only way to be captains of our own ship.
ReplyDeleteDanine Dolphin problem is that ADA is essentially a shaper construct. Yeah some humans created her, but those humans were influenced by shapers and then ADA was flushed with XM.
ReplyDeleteLet spin the recursion wheel a bit... Gods create man, man destroy gods and become gods and create their own race. Seems to me that is doomed to repeat the pattern and will be doomed by their creations. Shapers on the other hand offer humanity the possibility to evolve and continue to be the masters of their universe. The status quo, the resistance, fails to see the recursion of their ways.
ReplyDeleteMario Valenzuela II you say, that humams are just tools for the shapers. I don't think that we are. Or have to be. We didn't acchieve big things cause of the shapers but despite. To resist such things is human. I am human. But if you want to be a tool, you're free to be.

ReplyDeleteI said we were influenced by the shapers not that we were tools of the shapers. If we were the shaper's tools that assumes they control our every action and they give us orders. Being influenced by something is completely different since it can be a subtle suggestion or a confluence of events that causes people to act or think in a certain way; but it is important to note that influence can produce the opposite effects to those that are desired/intended by the source of the influence.
For instance, if I went outside dressed in black on a sunny day, like normal, and its hotter then hell, I may be influenced to go inside and put on a lighter colored shirt as a result of the weather conditions. The sun/weather is not forcing me to put on a different shirt, it is merely influencing my decision whether or not to change outfits. The influence of the weather is not absolute because I could decided not to change shirts and instead, bring a lot of water/cold drink with me so I could cool down.
