Field report of Smurfin’ The Lowlands!
Smurfettes from all over the globe got together on International Women’s Day for #ResLadiesRaid. Mission: to make as many P8s as possible. The operation was initiated and led by German RES agent Claudia Stockhausen (props!).
The Dutch operation was held in the city of #Utrecht with 20 agents in 3 teams:
L8 bike team Indigo
AgentAudia, Aliekes, Chiquita, Daenarian, Floorder, Haazje, Noek13 and Violin84.
L8 team Ultramarine
Cursan, Diabolin, Dragonfly42, Eveline, Itxaso, Ladybro, Sicistra and Wally007.
Lower level team Azure
Mienniemouse, Sorashana and Vilyak.
led by L8 agent Dolfijnn1
Thanks to TorpeMike (m) and cq27 (m) for being city guides.
Result:
175 L8 portals. More importantly, female players got a chance to meet each other and have a good time.
The group picture was taken at the statue of the Lady of Justice. Also, agents took a short break at the statue of Trijn van Leemput.
Trijn van Leemput (c. 1530–1607) was a Dutch heroine of the Eighty Years' War against Spain. According to local legend in Utrecht, she led a large group of women on May 2, 1577 to the castle of Vredenburg and gave the signal to begin demolishing the castle.
By a staggering coincidence, this portal also happened to be some frog’s home portal...
