For too long the citizens of Trondheim have been denied access to the beneifits of XM enhancement. Recent attemps were short lived, taken down by eager Resistance. We decided if they want to continue to deprive their fellow man of XM, we will make them work for it!
What makes it hard to take down a field? Portals on mountain tops? Portals in other countries? Why not both? What began as a local brainstorm turned into a BIG green glowing idea. If we put the portals next door in Sweden, the Trondheim Resistance might just decide to drive across the border to take it down. So we added another border and decided Finland was far enough...
Calls went out across the Enlightened networks and we quickly answered. Fellow cities that have seen the green light wanted to help bring it back to Trondheim. Fortune shined on us as passing travelers brought portal keys from afar!
Norwegian agents, boosted with the power of XM, made the impossible happen by moving keys the thousands of kilometers on Norway in mere days.
Riding on the success of #OpHH and #AuroraBorealis , fun side fields were added on to the main plan. Because, “why not more green for everyone?” Stretching from Svalbard to Lom, megafields once again made Norway a safe haven for those seeking truth.
As it turned out, there was an anomaly taking place on the 12th of April, which happened to be right in the time we had planned to make this happen. We wanted to see if we could give the people a green easter, but now suddenly this got a bigger meaning, as this would be a good boost in the MU count for the anomaly as well. For Glasgow!
Preparations continued, plans were changed and re-thought, keys checked and finally the powers of XM seemed to be on our side. Through the Enlightened networks we managed to find a friendly agent on travel to clear some blockers for our main field and the plan was ready. Now the wait for 0-hour began. Clearing of blockers commenced while we waited to keep the paths clear. We were all amazed at how flexible and helpful Enlightened agents were to bring the Enlightenment to the people in dire need of help.
At 13.45 on the 12th of April we set out to make this happen and our prayers to the XM gods were heard. Our initial links were set up and field by field started to appear.
A last minute blocker came up from Hommelvik to Sweden, preventing the link from Kristiansund to Lieksa. Calls went out across Enlightened networks in Trøndelag and we managed to get ahold of @Geving who took the 10 minute drive to take out the blocker.
All the fields finally came up and we could once again celebrate under the wonderful green sky. Long live the power of XM, Long live Enlightenment and Long live the willingness of Enlightened agents to go above and beyond the call of duty.
Total MU Captured: 760k
Credits go out to all agents for excellent effort and flexibility beyond expectations:
