Ode to Finland, Estonia and Sweden

Report

A call to arms came to us and we responded. #O2J   looked very interesting operation and many of our agents were excited to participate. Couple of them actually broke their hiatus to participate in all the action.

The main plan included linking Sweden, Finland and Estonia together. The biggest job was to ensure that corridor from Oulu area to Estonia would be cleared on time. But of course this was not enough for the Resistance Finland. We designed few more fields towards east so we could have more fun. Masterminds Jussi Määttänen  and Teemu Kontio took responsibility of designing and creating the extra fields.

The connected cell action in Helsinki Metropolitan Area made sure that local Enlightened were if not alert at least annoyed before Saturday 17.5.2014. So we just could not hide that something is going on but Enlightened should still not know what we were up to.

Cleaning operation started early, first small duties were done on Friday.  A big thanks goes to Heikki Ahonen  and Kristiina Mannermaa  who agreed on changing their vacation plans to help us with the cleaning. There were a lot of blue blockers as well so jarvises were needed. I arrived to Oulu 04.35 on Saturday morning and with local agent Ladartia S we proceeded southwards to clean  blockers. A small 420km detour was a perfect way to start the day. It was early, but we knew that it would give us opportunity to do more cleaning later that day if it was necessary.

Then it was time to wait for the evening when the real action started.  At 18.00 Tampere crew (Sakari Karipuro , Sini Pahlama  and Joni Pahlama )  started their cleaning duties, Sakari being the contact person and planner of their trip. They executed the job at hand with expert precission and managed to create several protective links and a field of their own over Tampere with help from agents @FryyZi, @wutprojects and @nypa78. 400km of driving did not go to waste.

Jussi and Teemu K.  gathered their forces and several agents started to clear paths for all the east side fields. Mikko Lampinen , Bertalan Fabian , Mika Mattila , Olli Karjalainen , Jussi Kekkonen were all part of the cleaning and linking action. Special thanks and get well soon wishes go to Ville Sipiläinen
for risking his health for the good cause.

Closer to Helsinki many agents were active in cleaning the area from blockers and prepairing to create few links. Masi Leppänen , Tapio Kulmala , Jonne Backhaus , Paula Halme , Jarkko Girs did an awesome job in getting everything ready for linking. Tero Putkonen helped with Intel among work duties.

As the linking time approached we were all anxious. In Estonia suspicious green links were popping up and the local anchor was also green. Oleg Toming was on his route there to take it back. At the same time swedish agent Johnny Blästa was travelling to their anchor with keys delivered by Per Modin . On the way Johnny almost hit an elk, luckily for us that did not happen.

There were still couple of blockers that needed cleaning. Alexander Juustovaara took one down in Vaasa and Mikko Ilola was able to take few down. One blocker from Nauvo to Gottland was taken down by Heter. Ocera and Riku Vuorinen  neatly timed with Oleg turning the Estonian anchor to blue. One huge green anchor portal was promptly cleared by jari holkko and Jaana Sarnikorpi .  After these cleaning duties we had all corridors for the western field opened and ready for linking. Linker Heikki Kortti was fighting over gps troubles but those were overcomed just in time for linking.

Still we had one major issue. There was one blue blocker from estonia to Finland preventing most of the eastern fields and we were trying desperately to find someone to take them down. Mikko I. and Pone Klemetz were quite ready to drive to the Finnish anchor when Jaana called and woke up Anne Ramstedt-Allen to do the job. To be woken up after 02.00 AM and doing your task just shows what is the real spirit of Resistance. All the fields were completed and we could relax and enjoy what we had done.

Thanks to all the agents involved in this operation. I am very proud to fight for human kind on your side. And cheers for everyone in other parts of Europe for making past weekend really memorable.
