Great work everybody!

An international Resistance Operation long over due.
Ingress Resistance, Saudi Arabia and Egypt would like to present OP #SeaBride   . We unite for the first time And not the last to protect over 23 Million MUs  "Exactly 23,659,347 MUs" fielding over The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

Egypt Sitrep:
Sea Bride - mostly a nickname for the shores cities in both Egypt And KSA, Alexandria and Jeddah, both of which are the second biggest cities in each country and considered their second capitals.

Our fields were supposed to cover both cities, but we managed to cover only one due to the operation being delayed more than once for various reasons.

What most people don’t know, including locals and even many of our agents before ingress, is that Sea Bride is an epic sculpture and portal on the beach of Alexandria right next to the infamous Library of Alexandria and the Lighthouse of Alexandria (one of the old seven wonders of the world.)

the portal ( https://www.ingress.com/intel?ll=31.209584,29.903578&z=16&pll=31.209877,29.908437 ) represents an ancient mythology about Poseidon (god of the sea) who transforms into a bull and embraces a beautiful woman which represents the city of Alexandria.

Coordinating with other countries is always fun. Both teams needed to adapt to each other’s operations. It’s been a pleasure working with the Saudi team and it won’t be the last time :)

Special thanks to agent @NeoSany for operating on a family vacation. I couldn't find a better way to describe it other than Karolis Bulika  poster https://plus.google.com/114067101927258314234/posts/63dU699EFCf .

Also this op was special as we celebrate agent @metwally capturing a total of half a billion MUs (I’m sure the next half will follow very soon.)

KSA Sitrep :

We couldn't find a better time to go on with this Op other than the Eid holidays. And there it was. The morning of Saturday the 2nd of August, we had planned to meet at our rally point at 1400, but we had to make few extra stops for Coffee and Lunch on the way :)

The anchor planned portal on KSA (Saudi Arabia) side was 240 km away from Riyadh city, in a town called Alruwaidah of about 15,000 residents. The town is surrounded with volcanic mountains and valleys. It would naturally take about 2 hours to reach there, 2 hours to make the links and another more 2 hours to come back.

We had prepared for everything else we needed before hand:

* Beverages Cooler and cookies
* Simcards from different operators, in case of bad coverage.
* a total of 33,000 mAmh of Battery banks.
* Car chargers, emergency lights, some more food :)
* Truck load of Country music. Our DJ was @h2olover.

We didn't know what to expect there.

...and we hit the road. It was pleasant, and we saw new places we haven’t been to before. The desert can be nice sometimes. We arrived there 1615, and we started our part of the job right away. We located the portal, captured it, jarvised it and went around all over the place during the flip cooldown 60 minute period. We climbed a mountain and found a 500 square meter cave in it. When it was time, we went back to flip it back and upgraded it for linking.

We had @NeoEGY with us in contact all the time to coordinate the whole operation with the rest of the team. We got the Go signal from him to link by 1810, after the others cleared out all blocking links in the way. And sure thing, we had successful links all the way to Egypt across the deserts of Najd, mountains of Hijaz, and the red Sea...to Alexandria and Qena, right over the Nile.

Numbers:
Links (1537KM - 1242KM - 603KM - 170KM - 629KM)
MUs (15,613,962 + 8,045,385 = 23,659,347)
