Nightstalker Lucerne 13th / 14th September 2014 SITREP
Lucerne. Well known by tourists well known for the chapel bridge, the lion monument and the mountains nearby. A beautiful city. But something isn’t as nice as it seems: Lucerne is claimed by the enlightened. When you look on the intel map you see their L7 and L8 farms. We have many resistance agents, who bombed Lucerne, but that didn’t helped much, because the density of the enemy is so high. So Lucerne was elected as the host for the next nightstalker.
So agent cracyscientist created an event. Soon it was clear that we will be more than 8 agents. The night stand before the door.
We meet at Lucerne at 11:45pm in front of the train station. Agent BauWi took his mobile bar with him, full with coffee, tea, beer and liquor. Some levlers joined us, we thought they could score some ap, while linking and fielding. But as we checked your scanners we saw, that someone covered whole Lucerne under a bluetiful field. We checked intel and saw, no it’s whole europe! Nice job agents! But secretly we hoped, someone is going to take the field down during that night, so our levlers can do something else then deploying.
After everyone arrived mentally and physically and went to the toilet twice, we are ready to start our nightstalker. But first, let me take a group-photo from the heros of the night.
The first part of our route took us to the lion monument. On the way we made a capture battle. 3 Agents always ran ahead to capture the portals for their badge. From the lion monument, we went to the old city part of Lucerne. Agent BauWi was already there and supplied us with some liquid substances. Soon we noticed, that agent grossvater is taking us under attack. So we hurried a bit ab. Deploy. hack. walk. deploy. hack. walk. and so on. We decided to make this part of the route again. And in case, grossvater is continuing his attacks, we will making it again.
So after a toilet break we made that route again. After the second loop has finished, we met another resistance agent, who was wondering why so many blue L8 portals are spreading up in the green Lucerne. We had a talk and of course some drinks at the bar of BauWi. This break lasts longer. The city became bluer and some of our agents too.
We continued the route thru the old city part. And than we met with grossvater. Aaaand next drinking break! We talked a bit with grossvater and had some drinks. We became bluer and bluer and with us the frog and the city. Agent Sopita brought some ham croissants with her. And also same vegetarian ham croissants (a.k.a. carrots) for our vegetarian agents.
But some of the agents were still hungry, so we decided to go to McDo. The other part of the group stayed with the bar and took the frog in arrest.
We arrived at McDo and it was full. Did you know that McDo in the morning at 4 is worse than at lunch? We went to Burger King instead. and lost another part of the group.
Then we meet all again at the trainstation. We ate our meals and drunk our drinks. And suddenly we heard a shout: “The field is down! Link or die!” The first portals has 8 outgoing links within seconds! A few seconds after the second portal was linked, and so on.
Now our route was finished. It’s 4am and we were tired. But some of us were unstoppable and took the next bus to take down Kriens. The other part of the group starts their way home.
At 4:30 I arrived at home. During that time my fellow agents built their L8 Portals in Kriens. That was an epic night.

- 19 Agents (+1 Frog)
- 120 L8 portals
- 24.5 liters of beer
- 12 cans of energy drinks
- 4 bottles of ice tea
- 1 bottle of Slivovitz
- 0.5 bottles of Birnenmandli
- 0.6dl of Träsch
- 1 bottle of Moqito
- 1 bottle of Sex on the beach
- 1 bottle of Jagermeister
- 1 epic night!
