Operation Laxease - 9-September-2014
The path to Enlightenment is paved with both our successes and failures. But walking that path is enabled by learning from the failures of those not committed to our belief.
A balmy early autumn evening was an ideal time to put that to the test – A group of committed Enlightened agents in the South Central UK region implemented an operation to capture the mind units of much of the county of Hampshire.
Our ongoing commitment to weaken, contain and destroy a small Resistance farm in Farnbourough and Aldershot was taken up a notch by implementing an aggressive capture of many of the high level portals it contained. On the back of this an opportunity was seen to embarrass local Resistance by allowing us to use our gains to capture a large part of Hampshire.
19:30 Tuesday 9-September: A number of agents met in North Camp, roles and teams were assigned and the smash fest began. Heading North many portals were liberated from the Resistance providing many minds a brief moment of Enlightenment. The notorious FAST cluster was then claimed back for the sixth time in as many days.
As FAST was crumbling to dust we received Comm that the Resistance were attempting to recapture our gains. Our route was modified slightly to recapture these losses. Three additional agents then joined our efforts and began running distraction strikes around FAST and North Camp. The main teams then headed down Queens Avenue, a dead straight run of just over mile with 14 high level portals awaiting liberation. That completed and a quick loop round the west side of Aldershot and the teams headed to Farnham.
Reports continued to come in that our distraction squad were seeing more Resistance activity and were keeping them very effectively occupied. Meanwhile the main teams were rolling 8’s through and around Farnham which has seen a lot of opposition activity lately. A feeble attempt was made by the opposition at this point to field our activities. This was soon dealt with and both Eastern anchors were swiftly captured.
Throughout much of the day a number of agents had been busy taking out blocking links. And whilst all this mayhem was going on a team of agents were mobile across the region busy clearing blocking links. Ably supported by two agents monitoring intel and coordinating the strikes.
Then, at 22:40 - from the very dark and eerie remains of a hilltop castle in Dorset a link was thrown to Selsey point in Sussex. By linking these two remote points to some of the recently liberated portals in Farnham and South Aldershot a stack of 11 fields was placed over much of South Hampshire. As a result the Mind Units of over 5 million were able to experience true Enlightenment and were briefly liberated from the often chaotic and random efforts they are frequently forced to endure at the hands of the Resistance.
