OPERATION: UNITY

I have never been more proud than I am today, of not only being a member of the Enlightened, but of being an Ingress Agent.

Unity was an operation designed from the bottom up. Instead of focusing on large fields, with large fielders. Instead of focusing on fielding for anomalies, or artifacts. We decided to focus on our communities. On how we build teams. Getting new agents involved. Making things fun and exciting again. Most importantly though, how we can come up with an amazing idea, and because of Ingress have a chance to share it with the whole world.

So. Without further ado...

World Development Information Day.

"In recent years many events have interpreted the title of the day slightly differently. These have concentrated on the role that modern information-technologies, such as the Internet and mobile telephones can play in alerting people and finding solutions to problems of trade and development. One of the specific aims of World Development Information Day was to inform and motivate young people and this change may help to further this aim."

And if we can spread a single idea around the world, through our love of a "game". Imagine what we can do in real life.
