A few fans of green triangles were thrown into a hangout to field London for #Unity  

We decided we wanted a bigger field than just London, but wanted the links to cover as much land as possible to involve many local agents rather than a few people, far away, linking over the sea. We wanted agents to say, "that was our field."

We all drew up plans and the one that was selected was for 25 Layers and allowed many agents to each get a field. Recruiting was made more difficult by the timing, 4 am checkpoint on the night the clocks go back! Keys were carried across the land and ADA refactors were saved up.

The day before, I received word that the Resistance knew of the global op and that we were aiming for a 4 am checkpoint. We decided that our team had already worked too hard to let anyone spoil our fun and continued on in the tenacious and determined way that the Enlightened do. 

I'm afraid to say that we did miss the checkpoint by a few minutes through ferocious battles in the South East and South West and well played to our dedicated opponents for the games of cat and mouse.

We did get our layers up, and as they were getting deeper and deeper, the resistance were taking out the inner anchors so we don't know how many were up at any one time, but as you can see from the screenshot, it was deep. We missed two fields in the mayhem but made up for it by making three more once the resistance had cleared them all bringing the total to 26 fields, each at about 10.5 million MU. With a combined total of over a quarter of a billion Mind Units we are proud of our achievement.

These kinds of fields don't happen without teams of amazing agents clearing the path for the long links. Sometimes their job means racing around fighting off opposition blocking links in an adrenaline filled race against time. Sometimes it's stumbling through cow pat covered fields in the dark, or climbing hills. Sometimes it means smashing resistance strongholds or flipping Enlightened farms. Sometimes it's driving many miles, waiting all night in the cold to kill one portal at the last second. Fields like this don't happen without a committed army of unsung heroes.
