And the winner of the #IngressFS event in The Hague #FS070 is the Resistance with an average AP gain of 342.209.
The Resistance player with the highest AP gain, in this case the highest total gain, Drois, was granted the honor of taking the faction won cup home.

After a nice cup of coffee and some friendly banter, the greens and blues went their way as the clock struck 12, leaving Kira Kage and yours truly enjoying the chaos and destruction from the sidelines.
Quite immediately a few strategies became clear; two green agents had made their way to a nearby farm by tram and after clearing it started linking it shut with a beautiful green glow emmanating from the masterpiece.
As the fielding was taking place, a battle had started not far from us. Two opposing teams were battling for one of the busiest shopping streets in the city center. As frogs were running along, linking freshly captured portals together, three Resistance agents wisely followed said frogs and destroyed the newborn links rapidly. Then without warning, agent @Drois Peter Verbaarschot steered his trusty bike through the streets and obliterated everything in his path, leaving me and my blue-ish companion with a big, satisfactory grin.
Not too far away, but more isolated, smaller pockets of agents were attempting to graze as much AP as possible, leaving the highly active battlezones behind them in hopes of quieter waters.
As the two hours flew by, with the same speed as bursters leaving my inventory, all agents returned to base to report their level ups and AP gain.
Hand over that scanner device and don't you dare fire that burster, young man!
After handing out prizes, discussing displayed tactics and emptying the beer stock of the local bar quite significantly, all were content with having had a few good laughs. Friendly banter and dealing out friendly blows aside, I think it was a succesful event in that it doesn't make us feel like we are dating the enemy, but rather enjoying a good morning and afternoon playing a game with others who just so happen to like it just as much as I do.
Will we be able to secure it for the Enlightened the next time? Be sure to join us next month!
A big thanks to everyone that made this event happen, especially my ever willing supplier of smurf tears Kira Kage.
