OP Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) field art.
On November 2th, Mexicans celebrate the Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos), a public holiday dedicated to honor the loved ones who have died. In Mexico, people honor death not as a sad holiday, but a happy one. The relatives visit the graves of their ancestors and bring them gifts. People around the country build altars with offerings and make festivals.
I particularly love this holiday.
To celebrate this date, the Enlightened and the Resistance of Guadalajara worked together on a field art of a skull, a symbol of this holiday.
This operation took place in an area of around 12 km2 and lasted over 6 hours. There was much to clean.
@Ixothech and I (@CyMorgan) rode our bikes for this operation: 6 hours and 32 km in almost the entire area of the field art.
We all had to work hard, but it was so much fun.
Thank you so much, agents and friends, I had a wonderful time!
