The world around you is not what it seems. Not the mysterious shapers define your future, but the people around you.
Beware, if someone asks for you help with an OP which is going to be next weekend, it might turn out into something you would never expect. An OP named a “Heartattack Field” might turn into a heart attack surprise. For you. Literally.
*Pure facts/numbers*
Where: Belgium
Number of layers: 27/31
MU captured: ~2,5 Mio (at the end, who cares? xD)
Number of people involved: 16
Preparation times: 2 weeks
Heartattack: 1
Operation status: Succeeded!
*Funny facts/numbers*
Number of keys farmed: ~150
Number of guardians killed: 5 (sorry guys xD)
Travelled by train: ~800 km
Total train delay: > 2 hours (hello Deutsche Bahn!)
Travelled by car: > 500 km
Number of new (secret) Hangouts: 3
Accidental video call: 1
Indeed, it was not a classical Ingress OP to build as large field as possible and capture millions of MU. This time it didn’t matter at all. This time it was different.
End of november. Days are getting shorter and nights are getting colder. People are getting trapped in these gray days and it seems like nothing can break an infinite loop home - work - home. On a larger scale it repeats every year. The same. Every year. Perhaps people even don't want to break this loop, finding it comfortable and hiding there from any emotions? But very deep inside everyone hopes for something which can add a color to their lives. A little miracle.
Do you have a friend who lives far away? Someone, whom you would like to see more often, but it is impossible because of many reasons. Close your eyes and imaging them. I am pretty sure, you will have to smile. And now imagine that this person is suddenly here. Right now. In front of you. This person is getting out the car while it is being almost 1 a.m. It is being a cold night, your fingers are frozen. It is being 2 minutes before CP and you are trying like crazy to make the first link for the field named a “Heartattack field”. And at this very moment you understand what kind of a heart attack is meant by this name. This is damn mean and incredibly awesome at the same time. Because this is a heart attack for you.
Well, a 30-layers field Liege-Huy-Verviers-Vielsalm was just a nice bonus:) I planned it and used it as just a tool used to get +Terry at right place at right time and to make sure that he does not have any other plans on this night.
Because you should never forget one simple thing -
Ingress is always about people, not about portals!
