OP: DEEP COVER
On 8th November 2014
Nairobi, Kenya
This event marks the first complex operation on East African soil.
It all started when Agent maritimer3 first showed up in COMM, capturing some local (Nairobi) portals. I immediately reached out to him to find out whether he would be around for a long time, or if he was just visiting. Enlightened agents are heavily outnumbered by the Resistance in Nairobi, and we appreciate any help we can get from agents passing by...but we’ve never lost a single cycle yet ;)
A while later, Agent maritimer3 and his brother, Agent Avocado1982, went to the center of Nairobi and set up a number of complex layered fields, something that had never been seen in Nairobi before. Agents from both factions were amazed..And that’s where the idea to layer all of Nairobi came from
After a small meeting with a few other enlightened agents, the idea was proposed and approved. A tentative date and time was set.
During the weeks after the initial gathering of Nairobi Enlightened, Agents Avocado1982 and maritimer3 spent countless hours on the Intel map preparing the specifics for the greatest operation East Africa has ever seen. Agents Avocado1982 and maritimer3 matured and refined these plans to perfection, even providing specific steps and instructions to every single enlightened agent involved in the op. This was especially helpful, as no comparably complex operation had ever been attempted in this corner of the world, and they had a wealth of knowledge and experience which they gladly shared.
Nairobi enlightened agents had numerous meetings in the following weeks, farming/exchanging keys, fine tuning the plans, talking ingress, getting to know one another and just generally having an awesome time. By the time the final meeting took place, all equipment had been distributed appropriately, and the plan and timings were finalized. The rest is history :)
