New Year cross-faction field art in Yekaterinburg, Russia, December 26-27.
11 days before the operation the city was covered with two fields of both colors, to clear unwanted links more easily. The blue field was smaller but with higher MU (usual Ingress math strangeness). Cover teams:

After long and heavy disputes about what to picture with the field art a brilliant idea (by @Hyma) arose: the Spasskaya Tower with its clock, a Russian New Year symbol.
On Dec 25 we made a cross-faction Catholic Christmas L8 farm.
Only on Dec 26 at 21:00 we at last got a final drawing from @Toxyd, both factions were notifed and asked to avoid linking in COMM, all ground agents met at a cafe, distributed orders and pictures, got into cars and started!
Agents farmed keys and deployed portals, then on 23:30 the field was removed and the first link in 10 days was fired by @KidTM. Several agents from both factions started making some links but were asked to stop by their teammates and new blocking links were quickly destroyed. About 2:00 the main part was finished and the hard part startedL the animations. Several teams farmed about 50 keys from the centra point, the now famous Keyboard (remember Helios artifact games?) and after that started to move the clock hands: one team draws the minute hand at 00 minutes, waits for a screenshot to be taken, destroys the hand and goes to farm keys for 10 minutes while another team draws the minute hand at 05 minutes, then the process is repeated, 12 times in total. Other teams removed remaining stray links and prepared to draw the fireworks. It was almost a morning when we thought "fireworks should change colors and directions". It was about 7:00 in the morning and four teams were still driving around the locations of three fireworks. Everything was finished at 8:16 and after just 15 minutes a first gif image was ready.
