We didn't get to choose our name, but we do get to choose our path.
To some, Ingress is "just a game". To others, it's more. It's a lifestyle.
It helps us to get out of the house, exercise, see areas of our home we never even knew existed before and gives us a social life we never thought we'd ever have. It allows us to go on a journey of self-discovery and build upon the person we once were.
Through our communities, it teaches us how important interactions with other people can be. That thinking before we speak is quite important so our words and intentions aren't misconstrued. It helps us to understand more about other people and that what might not be important to one person, is to another.
We all play differently, our personal journeys are different, but our ultimate goal, at least as a team, is quite similar. Helen Keller said "alone we can do so little; together we can do so much", and it's the truth. This is why we love to promote the amazing teamwork that this game has inspired.
So what is it that brought you to this game? Why did you choose to become one of the Enlightened? What is it you enjoy most about being Enlightened and Ingress itself?
