Objective: first links + control fields, from Easter Island, to South America
Background
Easter Island, Rapa Nui, Te Pito Te Henua is an island in at the southeasternmost point of the Polynesian Triangle. It's famous for its 887 extant monumental statues, called moai, created by the early Rapa Nui people. Rapa Nui is a World Heritage Site, a paradise on earth and a magnificent place to play ingress.
The idea for this op was conceived in the early stage of the game, when due to range limitations was impossible to achieve. Then, with the help of some friends from USA visiting easter island and their lavr the dream started to take form. Sadly due to connectivity issues the op couldn't be completed in that time. But the very rare mod stayed with us and finally this summer the creation of this fields was possible.
Agents from north to south of our country travelled long distances through the cost of Chile, and two agents in rapa nui prepared the portal: Hand over the ocean. There were batches on the road but with teamwork every problem was overcome and the result was beautiful. We extended a hand over the ocean, a hand of enlightening and companionship from one of the most remote island of the world to the mainland of Chile, establishing that nothing is impossible to the Enlightened.
