At the end of last year’s summer early plans of global Resistance operation named #Unight16 came into life. The idea was to capture and build as many L7 and L8 portals as possible and to cover with blue fields area as large as possible.
Cooperation was essential to achieve the common goal so Poznań and Zielona Góra decided to act together to create the field.
Meanwhile in Poznań the operation was hidden under the local name “Total Takeover II”, to motivate the agents to take part by the success of the first edition and to reduce the risk of accidental leakage of the global plan.
Within the last month before the scheduled date we organized transports of the keys, we visited new places, met new people and cleared the last details of the plan, while recruiting more and more agents.

Poznań
Since early morning Resistance agents began to build strong L7 and L8 portals and the last team returned to the base around 4:00 in the morning the next day. During the action, late in the evening a group of eight agents Enlightened put up a fight, but still after a long and fierce battle, we are very pleased with the result.
Owned portals before operation: ENL 708 - 594 RES
Owned portals after operation: ENL 408 - RES 856 (including 40 portals portals L8 and L7 401)

We decided to start Takeover operation promptly at 5PM local time. The meeting place was set up at the symbol of the city which is the monument of the greatest sot "Bacchus". On-site showed up the following agents:@KarolusZG, @Maruder, @ZGora, @zabazg, @Qtulu, @Adalbercik, @wchpikus, @bonciu, @pawlozg and @PawelDerwich.
In a relaxed and joyful atmosphere we started building L8 portals on the so-called boardwalk. After using all available portals we took our seats in cars and went on a tour around the city. At 9PM we had to stop our evening rally because of factor X - unforeseen circumstances have arised in the form of crosses on the trails of our tomorrow links that had to be removed immediately.
Portals statistics: 97 P8, approx. 200 P7.

Throughout the week preceding the operation we quietly let our portals die and we were preparing corridors for the links. Due to the leakage abroad, we expected a lot of the preemptive crosses, but the biggest nightmare proved to be the blue links and fields. Fortunately, the situation has solved itself nicely - in the morning of the action day, we noticed that some of the crosses were removed by our green colleagues :)
In the morning the agents of Zielona Góra began covering the city with 43 layers, which alltogether gave the sum of 4,2 mln MU.
Agents involved in the larger field arrived at the designated places 30min. ahead of time. At 10:15 sharp all crosses have been removed and we started linking. Eventually we have created 9 layers with a total of ca 10,5mln MU. Our mission has been accomplished in 100 percent.
Total MU from all fields: 14,7 mln MU
Total number of agents involved in the fielding: 33
