Concepción is one of the main cities in Chile. Well known for its interesting mixture between college/university life, industrial sector and of been the limit of Mapuches local resistance to Spanish conquerors during the early years of Americas young life. It is of most importance for the independent life of Chile, since in its main square “Plaza de la Independencia”, where the declaration of independence was signed in 1818.
Some of the places you must visit when coming to Concepción are the mentioned Plaza de la Independencia, Universidad de Concepción, all of the 11 urban lagoons, Parque Jurasico at Plaza Acevedo and many others.
Perhaps one of the most interesting and beautiful places to visit when in town is Universidad de Concepción. This is why we decided to share with you a Picture of this iconic place and in particular the Athena’s Arch.
The operation started at 11:00 local time, when 10 Lvl8+, 1 Lvl7 and 1 Lvl2 agents (the last two for leveling purposes) started to capture or upgrade the previously selected 100 portals, with an overwhelming heat (at least for Concepcion). The #BucketList was completed by a single team and it lasted for about 3 hours. We started at Universidad de Concepción, moved towards the center of the City to take over portals at Plaza Independencia, Tribunales de Justicia and Plaza España (known for being where the train station and provincial government house stands). Later the team moved towards Plaza Acevedo and finished by capturing the portals next to one of the Lagoons.
If you visit our beloved Concepción, do not hesitate to contact local agents, we will definitively give you a tour and show you all of the cool places and relevant portals. Here #ENL #Enlightened rocks!!
