Excellent fielding agents ....I do love those deep colored fields.

Operation: Back to the corners
Objective: Field Juliet-13
Mind units: 73.9 million
Bringing together multiple agents from across the cell, the Enlightened of Juliet-13 successfully created a multi-layered, onioned field on Saturday, 14th March just after lunch time. There were 20 large fields, 14 onion layers, 1 bacon and sausage butty eaten on the side of a road, intel operators diving into their car to clear links (again), multiple miles driven, many happy smiles, days out enjoyed by all, many red hands from being so cold, picnics and hot brews had.
This op was to bring new and old players together: people who had never been involved in fielding before. Most importantly, we wanted local people to make the fields at the anchor points instead of a random agent not local to the area turning up to make a link. The result was amazing: level 5 players sending op links, teams in Derby, Fylde and York making fields within the main field path, using the blocking links as baselines to create multi-layered beauties, encouraging the old and new players together. The teams themselves felt autonomous where they could make it their op too and shape it to suit themselves and the op. People felt included and not simply ordered around.
The plan was originally conceived by the three chaotic monkeys. It was decided that someone new and up and coming was needed to promote growth in the community, a different perspective, new ways of thinking, someone dynamic and someone to take the teddy by the ears and show how it’s done, the true ENL way.
Enter MightyBaker. She handled it all like a pro and many thanks should be indeed passed to her for her 1st big op which she ran on her own with a little support from the chaotic monkeys as and when she asked. It was her show .. and what a result …
Agents involved in closing the fields appeared in regional leaderboards for 5 cells (Juliet 8, 12, 13, 14 and 15). We won’t list the individual MU scores per player as it was a collective effort and would miss the point of what we were going for.
We had teams placed in key locations. Some blue strongholds were identified and teams were assembled for the day ready to lightning strike and create blockers for the link paths. As always, the diagonal was the hardest to get through but for many, this wasn’t hard. Even though our intel operator had to dash out to break a link, something that was required of him last year when Four corners was first pioneered covering an entire cell. A random player unaware of the op appeared at Alton towers where the link path was going through, but agents on hand dealt with it as quickly as possible. The youngest clearance agent on the operation was just 6 years old . There are many individual and group heroes from the day who have their own personal stories of the day and events that transpired to make this the success it was . To all of you,Thank-you.
Please post little stories in the comments below, if you wish, of the action that happened around you .
The anchors themselves were in beautiful locations across the region – 18th century Castle Howard in the north east, Twycross Zoo in the south-east, the medieval Powis Castle in Wales in the south west, and Furness Abbey near Barrow-in Furness/Hodbarrow lighthouse near Millom in the north west. Some marvellous locations for cake!
