SitRep Extraction shard #19
Location/direction: Ridderkerk (NL) to Kelmis (B)
Date: 19-03-2015

TL;DR version
=============
Shout out to RES agents from around the world aiding in keeping the shards away from Rotterdam and The Netherlands. Thanks for all the hard work, for your XM recharging, for extensive farming, for driving more kilometers than is healthy for your wallet, for sleeping way too little and big hugs to your family and friends supporting you (sort of, or at least trying ;-) ). We are fully aware of all the good work you do to support us. Thank you. Thank you very much.

Longer version
==============
This could be a long story about what happened to shard #19 since it left Scotland and travelled for days through The Netherlands to end up in a historic environment in Belgium (Wikipedia http://goo.gl/MEDF3Z). But that’s one to do over a few pints and in our ultimate situation report.

At the beginning of Shonin #19 spawned in Schotland and actually didn’t move at all. For us, The Resistance in The Netherlands, that kept feeling like a thread. So, instead of waiting we decided enable it to move and take control. What better way to defend than to take the intelligent offense.

Team Resistance plotted out the strategic possibilities and decided to open up a gap (or rather: not close) in the north western part of the country (province Noord-Holland). ENL got and took their change and shot it to the historic fisher town and former island of Urk. RES agents from all over the country moved in fully packed, teams and surrounding areas got on full alert and the big planning started. Planning for taking more control and extraction to get this darn sleep wrecker out of the country.

Keeping a close eye on the shard and it’s possible trajectories we got to move it to below Amsterdam. ENL took the opportunity again and, as foreseen, gave the locals in the city of Ridderkerk quite a wake up call yesterday when #19 appeared at portal Kippiekip.

The nice ENL people joined us there to take control at the jumps of 19:00 (local time), 01:00 and 07:00. Everyone but a few battlied silently while watching their phones and burning inventory. We all had a good time.

Finally today (thursday), at 07:00, we got it to jump to the portal of Kijfhoek. That is a portal near Ridderkerk at the office of the national railway company. It’s legit. It is accessible for visitors with a badge and for the general public at Monuments’ Days. See picture below: Resistance agents were there to build a P7 and shoot it away, across the border. On it’s way to Washington DC (Keep it up guys!!).

#19 stayed at the industrial area of Kijfhoek for a mere twelve hours. Between arrival and departure RES planners got the local teams in the south of NL and in Belgium on their feet. They cleared a path and we were able to shoot it to Kelmis, Belgium. Boy this was one massive operation.

As you can see at this moment our local Belgium agents are working hard this evening and will keep on doing so to defend everything The Resistance stands for. Go go go!

Once again, thanks to all agents from around the world from all continents. Whenever you’re in Rotterdam, ping our comms for a beer. Glad to host you and show you around.
