Funny that is not what I see at all...I see the little boy trying and the cop just standing there not making anything better...the cop could have taken the water..maybe not drink it but taking it to show gratitude towards the little boy...

ReplyDeleteI see a law enforcement officer in a tense situation having a conversation with a young man who cares about his community. I wouldn't expect him to accept it since carrying around a water bottle is likely to reduce his ability to do his job, but it is nice to see him responding to the offer in what appears to be a civil and professional manner (though I would expect no less, given the law enforcement officers I've worked with).
