Excellent OP !

After a failed OP a few weeks ago to finish the fields of the Hannover anomaly the idea was raised to do some fielding together and to succeed this time. Timo Winking and AnkeFelicia Winking have been to Enschede before and met a large group of us in one of our local pubs during one of our famous beergress events. At the Hannover anomaly we ran into them again, but when we were working on the OP shortly after Hannover we decided to start something up together. It would be another good opportunity to work together once more on an international operation.
On a pretty warm Friday evening we met each other somewhere in the middle to transfer keys and drink a nice beer together. Had some laughs about frogs and differences between Dutch and Germans. We were all sure this was going to happen and we would do it right.
In the days before the operation I was starting to get pretty nervous. All this work and planning, but would it be enough? The day before the operation Petra de Jong and myself even went to Amsterdam to walk 13 hours and almost 40km to do the Amsterdam banner missions. It helped me at least to get my mind of things.
On the night of the operation Arjen Stolk and arend pinkster had a plan of their own and Arjen got his platinum illuminator medal with fields covering the area between Enschede and Winterswijk. These fields were destroyed rather quickly.
The Germans started a nice barbecue at one of the anchors with all the fielders and some of the local cleaners. Shame we couldn't be there to taste a good bratwurst, maybe next time!
Cleaning started right on time and we took our bikes to Oldenzaal. A local ENL player near a somewhat hard to reach portal noticed us and we thought he was on to us early, but we were only there for unique caps ‘obviously’. Right before we wanted to start fielding we had some troubles with ghost fields in Germany. Ingress started to hiccup. In Oldenzaal there was a blue link between two green portals as well. Fortunately this was not blocking anything.
Thank you to everyone involved, without you this wouldn't be possible!
