Official SITREP for 'We're doing an OP? OP' 2014-07-20
Number of layers covering the beautiful Free Republic of Twente: 6, totalling a little over 1.4M mu, covering all three major cities.
Lots of reasons to go out on a rampage tonight and hook up with agent @Kr4zy again for some crazy uh, yeah, some kind of action!
We weren't sure if we would just go blow stuff up, a lot, or if we would try to finish what local RES agent DisqTheMan tried earlier today, or what we thought he was trying, fields over Twente.
We figured it would be obvious pretty soon what we were planning once we started setting up the first anchors. But we be like, meh, what the frak, we'll see where this goes.
But two agents for this OP? It might be wise to have an operator guide us. Agent @Dwaashoofd to the rescue, trying to make the best of our vague ideas.
So, we captured, farmed and linked the portals in Vreden, drove to Lemele, which in the end seemed to be the best anchor in the north west, clearing stuff along the way.
At this point it was clear to some RES agents what was going on. No countermeasures though. But! We forgot a blocker in Haaksbergen. Yeah yeah yeah. Agent @TheBestTestcase was ready to go but we found another agent nearby,@Troel, level 4, who saved the day, thank you so much!
Captured the Lemele anchor, a possible guardian portal (but who gives a frak about guardians these days) and off to Bad Bentheim with just a bit of clearing along the way and flying comfortably across the highway #BMW .
After a 230 km drive and no countermeasures, time to finish this thing. Some excitement ofcourse as the fields went up :)
Planning:
Not a lot actually.
Operator:
@Dwaashoofd Dwaas Hoofd
Clearing:
@Kr4zy Bram van Essen
@dasplan dasplan maphcase
@Troel Frederique van Egmond
Keyfarming:
@Kr4zy
@dasplan
Fielding:
@dasplan
Lessons learned:
Communication and cooperation.
A grand total of 0 Illuminator badges achieved, but we had fun, lots of it :)
