actually there were significantly more blue there than green. green actually did much better than the lopsided numbers would have suggested. #QualityNotQuantity
IIRC, many of the Seattle Enl didn't show up because they didn't want to "waste" their gear. Of note: there were no power cubes back then, so riding a bike around sucking up all the ambient XM was a pretty good tactic to slow down the other team.
Did we have recycling back then, or not? Getting XM and gear was certainly not as easy as it is now. And we walked uphill, both ways, in driving snow to get our hacks, too! Darn you kids, get offa my lawn!
This was before bulk recycle, power cubes, capsules, ultra strikes - dark dark days my friend! I remember hours spent playing drop/pick at home to give gear out to the littleuns!
"Despite the fact that we all know the risks involved, I am convinced that we should continue to investigate the value of high-dose-XM research." "We should view 'Epiphany Night' not as a crisis, but a tremendous opportunity." Dr. Victor Kureze, in an email last week. -PAC #ingress http://www.nianticproject.com http://www.nianticproject.com
