above 900 simultaneously standing green L8 Portals in and around Ratisbona
On saturday the 15th of march 2014 we’ve had our first cityflip event in Ratisbon. This event did connect us with a lot of nice people from other communities. We’ve had a lot of fun!
For this reason we wanted to repeat this operation. Now, in summer 2015, we found our date.
We invited our friends from our neighbour communities. We seeked and found the locations for the meet & greet and the afterparty.
On saturday, the 25th of July 2015, the involved agents came togetner for a traditional bavarian “Weißwurstfrühstück” (a kind of bavarian veal sausage served with sweet mustard and a pretzel). We assembled the teams for the various districts. Turn blue into green! And like always, the common aim: Have fun together! And we’ve had a lot of fun
Countless unique visits and captures later we came together again for dinner.
Meanwhile we built more than 900 (simultaneously present) green L8 portals and the local resistance has made their name no honor. Except of a few local actions we didn’t observe any counteraction.
The operation ended with more than 800 present green L8 portals, this are roundabout 70 % of all portals in the area we played in.
Our unanimous opionion is: That was really fun. It has to happen again.
A huge aknowledgement to all of the participating agents. It was a honor to fight side by side with all of you.

über 900 gleichzeitig stehende grüne L8 Portale in und um Regensburg
Am Samstag, den 15. März 2014 gab es unser erstes Cityflip Event in Regensburg. Das Event hat uns mit vielen netten Leuten aus anderen Communities zusammen gebracht, wir hatten alle großen Spaß.
Aus diesem Grund hegten wir schon lange den Wunsch diese Aktion zu wiederholen. Jetzt im Sommer war es dann endlich so weit, der Termin war gefunden.
Unsere Freunde aus den Nachbarcommunities wurden eingeladen. Locations für Begrüßung und gemeinsame Afterparty wurden gesucht und gefunden.
Am Samstag, den 25.07.2015, trafen wir uns dann alle zum in Bayern gebräuchlichen Weißwurstfrühstück und teilten die Teams auf die verschiedenen Stadtteile auf. Aus blau mach grün! Und wie es bei uns eben Sitte ist: Have fun together! Und den Spaß hatten wir auch. Viele Unique Visits und Captures später trafen wir uns dann zum gemeinsam Abendessen.
Zwischenzeitlich hatten wir in der Spitze über 900 (simultan stehende) grüne L8 Portale gebaut und die lokale Resistance hatte ihrem Namen keine Ehre gemacht. Bis auf einige wenige Aktionen wurde in allen Stadtteilen keine Gegenwehr verzeichnet.
Die Aktion endete mit über 800 grünen 8er Portalen, was etwa 70 % aller Portale im bespielten Gebiet entspricht, und der einhelligen Meinung, dass dieser Spaß auf jeden Fall wiederholt werden muss :)
