Operation Stone Cold Revenge
tl/dr: Another shameless stats grab by Enlightened of Boston megafields team (& friends!).
#feew field established excellent work
17 layers (3 made checkpoint)
1.53 million MU per layer
Longest Link: 82km
Major Cities Covered: Boston, MA
Platinum Illuminator Badges: 9
Onyx Illuminators: 2
Agents with new Largest Control Field: 11
Agents with new Longest Link: 9
Law Enforcement Encounters: 3
Skunk Encounters: 1
The purpose of this op was to field Boston and boost individual agent stats. We chose a Thursday night for the attack. The field was divided into three zones: Hudson, MA; Pembroke, MA and Newburyport, MA. Agents cleared their areas, then headed to anchors to establish layers.
Almost all teams reported smooth progress with few operational difficulties.
Agent @Tormentum reports: "Being chased around by Edawg across all of Natick and eventually saying hi while parked by a portal outside his house."
Agent @Photostat reports: "I used my first ADA refactor ever at the Grist Mill and felt useful."
Agent @Shrawshooter coined a new term: "Our first target was in a residential neighborhood where NO ONE parked on the street (and it was "55 minutes til ADA o'clock") so at first we tried sitting in the car with all the lights off before giving up and waiting at a Dunkin Donuts."
Agent @vsync reports: "The cops came to check us out just after checkpoint as we were sitting in the graveyard." Said we were looking for directions and handily had the (intel) map up to briefly wave as proof. Then they came back as we were switching drivers and started asking more detailed questions so we zipped off out of town. Finally got to the woods in Stow, pulled up intel map and scanner, and watched as waves of green washed over from more and more field layers. It was magical!"
