13Magnus Dead Bodies & Simulacra: Guardians of Portals?
Over at #OperationEssex 's hangout, a discussion was started on Hank Johnson's posting on the greater Stonehenge. The question I was pondering is are portals created for a specific purpose or do they occur naturally, but are manipulated by Shapers and N'zeer alike?
Then JoJo Stratton raised the question of 13Magnus blocking portals to keep the N'zeer out. Suddenly, a theory emerges. Do 13Magnus sensitives need to die and allow their bodies to be kept in their sanctums or Nests all over the world (like what happened to Hank at the Peshawar Anomaly where the Mount Meru is located) in order to shut out the N'zeer?
This will make sense of what Azmati said to Hank, that he has been in the Nest at Afghanistan for far too long. If the bodies of 13Magnus sensitives are necessary to shut out the special portals where the N'zeer will return from, what is then the function of the simulacra?
Here, I would like to speculate that, apart from the passing of the matrix of leadership throughout human history or prehistory, the purpose of the simulacra could be to scour the earth in search of the primary trans-dimensional objects. Why? Again I am speculating that it is because these objects can be used as the permanent solution to shut out the N'zeer at all the Nests around the world and the current method of using 13Magnus bodies is just a temporary solution until these objects are in place. These objects are likely double-edged sword where they can both shut out or open the door for the N'zeer's return.
If this theory has any truth in it, it can also explain why the Anazktec chased Hank away upon returning from the Valley of the Dead. It could be that the valley is another Nest meant to keep the N'zeer out where the Anazktec's bodies are kept while their simulacra interact with Hank, Yuri Alaric Nagassa and the physical world.
And if the greater Stonehenge Hank posted is another sanctum or Nest, will there be 13Magnus bodies found when excavation starts?
Lastly, if 13Magnus bodies are temporary solutions to form a Nest to keep out the N'zeer, did Calvin use 13 sensitives to bring about their return at the Niantic Project? Was Calvin trying to reverse the blockage and open the door at CERN which led to the members turning into simulacra for the Anti-Magnus? As keys for the Anti-Magnus just as the bodies of 13Magnus sensitives are the locks?
